Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
By using Notepadly ("the site"), you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The service
Notepadly is a free, browser-based notepad provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Your notes are your responsibility
All note content is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to or backed up by us. We are not responsible for any loss of content resulting from clearing browser data, browser or device changes, storage limits, or any other cause. Use the download features to keep your own copies of anything important.
Acceptable use
Don't use Notepadly for anything unlawful, or in a way that attempts to disrupt or abuse the site itself. Since notes are never transmitted or shared through the site, there is no facility here for publishing or distributing content to others.
Advertising
This site may display ads served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for details on how those networks may use cookies.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site's operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Notepadly, including loss of note content.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
